For 34 years, R. Wayne Siegworth dedicated his life to the students at Barrington High School.
Between 1950 and 1984, Siegworth was a chemistry teacher, football coach, athletic director and assistant principal at the school. He quickly became well-known and well-liked across the Barrington community.
Siegworth, 77, died Oct. 8 of complications related to diabetes. His funeral will take place at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Church of Barrington.
